Abstract:

Raziskava je iz serije ISSP - Mednarodnega projekta sodelovanja splošnih družboslovnih anket, katerega namen je pridobivanje podatkov primernih za primerjalno analizo. Vsako leto se sodelujoče države odločijo za izvedbo kratkega vprašalnika na izbrano temo. Vsebina tokratnega vprašalnika, ki je deloma ponovljen iz ISSP87, zajema stališča o družbeni neenakosti in vsebuje podatke iz naslednjih držav: Avstralije, Nemčije (Zahodne in Vzhodne), Velike Britanije, Združenih držav Amerike, Avstrije, Madžarske, Italije, Norveške, Švedske, Češkoslovaške, Slovenije, Poljske, Bolgarije, Rusije, Nove Zelandije, Kanade in Filipinov. Začne se z ocenami dejavnikov napredovanja v življenju. Vsebovana so stališča do družbenih razlik, kdaj so upravičene, ali jih je potrebno zmanjšati. Respondentje ocenjujejo, kakšen je dejanski dohodek izbranih poklicnev in kakšen bi bil upravičen. Ocenjujejo različne oblike obdavčevanja, poseganje države pri uravnavanju neenakosti. Podana je samoocena lastnega družbenega položaja ter podatki o socialnem izvoru ter družbeni mobilnosti. Ocenjen je družbeni prestiž posameznih poklicev. Dodan je obsežen blok demografskih vprašanj.
