Mednarodna družboslovna anketa (ISSP) je kontinuiran program mednarodnega sodelovanja v letnih anketah, ki pokrivajo pomembne teme za družboslovno znanstveno raziskovanje. Združuje že obstoječe družbeno-znanstvene projekte in usklajuje raziskovalne cilje ter tako dodaja posameznim nacionalnim raziskavam mednarodni in medkulturni vidik. Vsaka posamezna raziskava (tematski modul) se ukvarja z določeno družboslovno tematiko. Tako raziskave ISSP do sedaj vsebujejo vprašanja o odnosu posameznika do številnih družbenih tem, kot so: okolje, vloga vlade, družbene neenakosti, socialno podporo, družina in spolne vloge, delo in delovne usmeritve, religija, državljanstvo, nacionalna identiteta, zdravje in zdravstveni sistem. Prva raziskava je bila izvedena v letih 1985/86 v šestih državah, danes pa ima ISSP preko 40 držav članic po vsem svetu. (http://www.issp.org/)

DOHODEK
Ta izvedba raziskav ISSP se osredotoča na stališča do družbene neenakosti. Respondente najprej sprašuje o pomenu družbenega ozadja, zaslug, diskriminacije in korupcije za družbeni uspeh ter o stališčih do enakih možnosti izobraževanja. V nadaljevanju pa sprašuje za mnenje o lastni plači, o oceni dejanskega in primernega zaslužka za nabor poklicev ter o razlikah v dohodkih v državi anketiranca. Respondenti podajajo tudi mnenje o višini davkov glede na zaslužek, o percepciji konfliktov med družbenimi skupinami, možnosti družbene mobilnosti, o občutku pravičnega plačila, prav tako pa karakterizirajo dejanski in želeni družbeni sistem ter ocenjujejo družbeni standard lastne družine. Demografski sklop vključuje vprašanja o starosti respondenta, spolu, zakonskem statusu, izobrazbi, zaposlitvi, poklicu, o članstvu v sindikatu, dohodku, velikosti gospodinjstva, politični samoopredelitvi levo-desno, udeležbi na zadnjih volitvah, o verskem prepričanju, regiji bivanja, državi izvora oz. pripadnosti etnični skupini, zaposlitvi in poklicu staršev v mladosti anketiranca, o prvi in trenutni zaposlitvi anketiranca, družbenem položaju ter o ocenjeni vrednosti družinskega bogastva.
