Abstract:

Raziskava je namenjena percepciji in pričakovanjem v prihodnosti, s poudarkom na letu 2000. Respondenti odgovarjajo na vprašanja o tem, koliko sploh razmišljajo o prihodnosti sveta in svoje države, percepciji leta 2000 kot bližnje ali daljnje prihodnosti, o tem, koliko se o prihodnosti pogovarjajo, poslušajo ali berejo. Sledijo vprašanja o tem, kakšna bo razlika med letom 2000 in danes, navedejo naboljšo in najslabšo možno stvar, ki bi se lahko zgodila leta 2000, s pomočjo 9-stopenjske letvice ocenijo življenje sedaj, pred 5 letimi, pričakovanje čez 5 let in pričakovanje leta 2000 in sicer zase, za svojo državo in cel svet. Nato izrazijo svoja pričakovanja, posebej tudi lastne upe/želje glede konkretnejših stvari, kot so: sreča, zadovoljstvo z delom, religioznost, materializem, družbeni uspeh, človeški odnosi, seksualna svoboda, družinske vrednote, količina prostega časa, socialne razlike, duševne bolezni, uporaba drog, kriminal, položaj žensk in mlajše generacije. Zanimiva ugotovitev: pričakovanje praviloma sovpada z željo, da bi se določena stvar zgodila. Anketirani izrazijo tudi pričakovanja o možnostih, ki jih bodo omogočili znanstveni dosežki: izbira otrokovega spola in drugih lastnosti, zdravljenje nevarnih bolezni, npr. raka, da ne bo vojn, uravnavanje vremena, potovanje na druge planete; za vsako izmed navedenih je postavljeno vprašanje, ali respondent stvar pričakuje in ali si to tudi želi. Naslednja vprašanja se nanašajo na pričakovanja respondentov v zvezi z vojno, oborožitvijo in doseganjem miru. Respondenti najprej izrazijo pričakovanja v zvezi z oborožitvijo: pričakujejo čez 5 let / 20 let / leta 2000 svetovno vojno, več orožja ali manj orožja; kaj bi se zgodilo z državo, če bi bila vključena v svetovno vojno, bi se država vojni lahko izognila, ali obstaja kaj, kar bi lahko preprečilo vojno z jedrskim orožjem, kaj bi bila posledica popolne razorožitve. Navedenih je 25 trditev, kako doseči svetovni mir, od predlogov na individualni do predlogov na mednarodni ravni, respondenti izrazijo strinjanje z vsakim od njih, izberejo tisto rešitev, ki naj bi najverjetneje zagotovila svetovni mir. Sledijo vprašanja o pričakovanjih v zvezi z mednarodnimi trendi: kako se bodo razvijali odnosi med socialističnimi in kapitalističnimi državami, med revnimi in bogatimi državami, med različnimi rasami. Navedenih je 16 držav, respondenti za vsako izmed njih povejo, ali je članica NATO pakta, Varšavskega pakta ali nobenega od teh. S pomočjo 20 trditev so merjene respondentove osebnostne lastnosti (idealizem, dogmatizem, konzevativizem, individualizem, ipd.), nekaj vprašanj se nanaša na oceno delovanja in pogledov mlajše in starejše generacije. Respondenti odgovorijo na vprašani, ali ima njihova država dovolj vpliva na mednarodnem področju in kako močno naj bo v svetovno dogajanje vključena, izmerjena je tudi respondentova lastna vključenost v socialno mrežo: kako močno se ga tičejo stvari, ki se dogajajo okrog njega, če je (aktiven) član kake politične ai verske organizacije, član koliko društev ali klubov je, je imel kdaj vodilno funkcijo v le-teh in ali je že kdaj javno(pisno – v časopisu ali ustno – na sestanku) izrazil lastno mnenje. Demografska vprašanja zajemajo: starost, spol, zakonski stan, izobrazbo, zaposlitveni status, panogo zaposlitve, zadovoljstvo s poklicem, kakšen poklic in v kateri panogi si želijo delati leta 2000, zaposlitev očeta, zaposlitev glave družine, dohodek respondenta in gospodinjstva, zadovoljstvo z dohodkom, velikost naselja, kako dolgo na tem naslovu že živi, bi si želel preseliti in kam , velikost rojstnega kraja, kdaj se je odselil od doma staršev in vernost. Del vprašanj o bodočnosti in odnosu do znanosti ter napredka so ponovili v ADP IDNo: SJM994.

Sampling procedure:

V anketo so vključili 5 ljubljanskih občin: Bežigrad, Moste-Polje, Šiška, Vič-Rudnik in Ljubljana-Center. Razen zadnje občine vključujejo tudi manjša mesta in vasi. Vzorec raziskave je kvotni, dobljen na podlagi popisnih podatkov leta 1961, pri čemer so upoštevali: spol, starost, vir dohodka in izbrazba.

Osebno anketiranje na terenu z vprašalnikom na papirju.

Access restrictions
