On the 7th and 8th of October 2013 ADP hosted a delegation of partners in SERSCIDA project in Ljubljana. The purpose of the two day working visit was to present to the guests the wider research and supporting environment, in which ADP operates. Guests were accepted by representatives of institutions as the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Public Opinion and Mass Communication Research Centre, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, the National and University Library, the University of Ljubljana, the Slovenian Research Agency, the Institute of Information Science, Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the Jože Goričar Central Social Sciences Library.

The picture of the connected activities of different operators in the scientific-research field influenced the guests to come up with many questions. They were the most interested in the dilemma on how to achieve the cooperation of funders, researchers and representatives of institutions with the goal to actively use the developing infrastructure and to cooperate with supporting services. The guests expressed the enthusiasm about the obtained knowledge and experience, which would be desperately needed when building their national data centers.
