The course will outline the issues related to measurement error in survey research and the subsequent consequences for the results of the research.

The course is aimed at Doctoral Candidates at all stages, Postdoctorates from Humanities and Social Sciences and quantitative research practitioners. No prior knowledge of correction for measurement error is needed, but students should be comfortable with statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, variance, standard errors and confidence intervals.

The training session will be given by Diana Zavala-Rojas and Wiebke Weber from Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM), Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain.
As with all SERISS training sessions, there are no tuition fees and three meals will be provided.

Training course will be held at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia on 26-27 February 2018.
