A workshop on “Global Scientific data Infrastructures: The Big data Challenges” will be held in Italy, the Island of Capri on the 12-13 of May 2011. The workshop organized by CNR-ISTI, Italy and the University of Athens Greece, will address major topics related to scientific data infrastructures, the data-intensive multidisciplinary research and their data challenges. The workshop is mainly addressed to an audience of researchers that can freely register as instructed in the attached Call for Participation.
