The central purpose of GOR conferences is to provide a venue for the presentation of empirical studies which examine the Internet as both an instrument for, and an object of, scientific investigation. Topics of investigation may include (but are not limited to): quality of net-based research, online research methods in market research and polling, computer-mediated communication, Web experiments, and marketing on the Internet.
