The research was developed in the context of rising populism and Euroscepticism in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The purpose of the research was to identify the main areas and factors of populism and Euroscepticism. In addition to issues related to the attitude towards the EU and the attitude towards political elites, the survey included key areas of common policies, government policies and value-sensitive issues. Standard demographic indicators, as well as indicators of the economic situation of the household and media monitoring, are included. The research was designed to complement standard Eurobarometer research with more specific issues related to the region and the topic. The research was carried out in Slovenia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The description of the present research refers only to the Slovenian file.
The survey, funded by the European Union: Europe for Citizens Programme, was carried out by the Centre for International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences, UL.
