The International Indian Statistical Association will celebrate the designation of 2013 as the International Year of Statistics by hosting a Conference in Chennai, India during January 2-5, 2013.
The theme of the conference is the Impact of Statistical Science on Society, and features a discussion of new challenges and opportunities for statisticians in a data-centric world.
There will be plenary, invited, contributed, and poster sessions covering a wide variety of topics. Workshops are also planned.
We welcome other statistical and related professional societies to provide sponsorships and participate in this event.
