The European Congress of Methodology is organised biennially under the supervision of the European Association of Methodology
(EAM), a society established in 2004 and which currently brings together a large number of researchers from all over the world. The aim is to bring together all specialists of scientific research methodology in Europe and the other continents to present and discuss the latest advances in the field of scientific methodology. Since its inception in 2004 the Congress has been held to coincide with the Biennial Conference of the Society for Multivariate Analysis in the Behavioral Sciences (SMABS), which on this occasion celebrates its 29th Conference.
The 2014 conference is organized by the department of methodology and statistics at Utrecht University and is sponsored by Hogrefe, the city of Utrecht, the faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences and The Department of Methodology and Statistics.
