Research data in the Catalogue of the ADP represent a vibrant resource for secondary use:

  • data can be used to replicate already conducted analyses,
  • data can be used to investigate new research questions,
  • new methods of analysis can be used on data,
  • longitudinal and international comparative analyses can be made.

Many studies in the Catalogue of the ADP include data, collected on a larger sample, that individual researchers or small research groups are able to collect due to financial and/or time restrictions.

 

Data and materials from the Catalogue of the ADP are most frequently used for:

Study purposes

  1. seminar work for individual classes
  2. diploma or master thesis
  3. doctoral dissertation
  4. preparation of a scientific or professional publication (for example conference submission, article, monograph etc.)

Research and education purposes

  1. preparation of a research project
  2. implementation of a research project
  3. preparation of a scientific or professional publication (for example conference submission, article, monograph etc.)
  4. teaching

Other

other: for example to prepare a news article, studies by non-governmental organizations etc.
