As part of the public procurement of the Employment Service of Slovenia, a survey was conducted on the needs in the field of integration of workers from other EU Member States in Slovenia. A public opinion poll was conducted among the population in Slovenia in order to determine the attitude of Slovenian society towards the immigration of EU workers, as well as the attitude towards the immigration of workers from other countries in general, (important) integration factors and knowledge of The European Job Mobility Portal – EURES. The survey was conducted with the CATI method, with the realized sample of 546 respondents. As part of the survey on the needs in the field of integration of workers from other EU Member States in Slovenia, also 16 interviews with employers employing foreign workers and 10 interviews with workers from other EU Member States were conducted. Interviews are not available in the ADP, but the latter are presented in the form of shorter excerpts in the publication, available among the accompanying materials.
The survey was funded by the Employment Service of Slovenia and carried out by the Public Opinion Research Centre, Science and Research Center Koper.
