A new study, entitled "Survey of economics and business environment, business ethics and unofficial payments in Slovenia, 2006" was published.
The survey substantively and professionally follows prior research carried out in 2002 in 2004. Thematically, the survey focuses on the problem of business corruption, its causes and acceptance among top management of Slovenian big, middle and small business. It covers an analysis of the economic and business environment, business ethics and informal payments in Slovenia. The survey contained questions about the assessment of the prevalence of corruption, the opinion on paying of additional unofficial payments, the impact of various forms of corruption on the business operations, experiences with corruption, bribes in public services, the business ethical code and successfulness on public tenders. Comparison with prior research is possible only on unweighted data.
