Quality of residential environment in the selected Slovenian cities, 2014

With this study, the authors estimated the quality of the residential environment in the selected Slovenian cities in the early twenty-first century with regards to the subjective assessment of the inhabitants. The sample comprised 15 neighbourhoods in selected Slovenian cities, that is Ljubljana (4), Maribor (4), Koper (3), Jesenice (2) and Grosuplje (2).

Data were obtained by a survey, in written form and online.

The study was conducted under the auspices of an interdisciplinary doctoral study in Humanities and Social Sciences, in the field of Geography, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana and the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Science and Arts, Anton Melik Geographical Institute.
