In order for researchers to easily search for and access research data in different repositories, efficient metadata storage is crucial. This can often be a problem in practice, as research data from different scientific disciplines have different publication standards, are of different formats and have different details.

At a webinar on metadata sharing issues on October 21st at 2.30 pm, Claudia Martens will share some practical experiences based on the interdisciplinary B2FIND web portal, give some tips on how to support metadata sharing in terms of metadata aggregation and highlight common issues that may hinder effective exchange.

The seminar is intended primarily for repository managers and data service providers. Registration is free and open to all, and you can register here.
