InGRID is organizing summer school on »Advanced measurement of quality of working life«.
The summer school aims at training doctoral students or early-career researchers. It is also opened to academics, policy practitioners and other interested users, providing participants with opportunities to discuss their projects and to network with leading international experts and other colleagues in the field.
The summer school will take place
from June 4th to June 8th 2018, near Paris at Noisy-Le Grand.The summer school will be organised in different sessions covering theoretical and empirical aspects of the QWL assessment to provide both a multidisciplinary perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the concept. It will put a special emphasis on methodological issues related to QWL measurement with an application, through a PC Lab dedicated to the analysis of the European Working Conditions Survey (EWCS). Leading experts and scholars in this field will present the results from their research. The objective from the courses is to provide participants with a sufficient knowledge to apprehend the issue of QWL with the relevant methods and analytical tools.
Requirements for attending the summer school are: mastering of STATA software is required to participate in the practical exercises.
Participation to this summer school is free of charge and subsistence costs are taken in charge by the project. Potential participants may receive a partial reimbursement of travel costs.
