The UK Data Service is running a webinar on the topic of politics.

The webinar will showcase data and online support materials on the topic of politics that are available from the UK Data Service and will highlight the research potential of the data.

Kathryn Simpson, User Support officer for the UK Data Service and Research Associate at the University of Manchester will give an overview of how data from the British Election Study are used to examine issues such as:

• Political party identification and support


• Voting intentions and behaviour


• Attitudes towards the European Union

The webinar will consist of a 40 minute presentation followed by 20 minutes for questions.
