Research data management (RDM) is becoming increasingly important in all stages of the research process. This webinar will provide an overview of research data management in the social sciences and offer an introduction on how to implement best practices throughout the research data life cycle – from planning to publishing. Specifically, the webinar will cover the following aspects including guidance and where to find more information:

  • What is a data management plan (DMP) and what should it contain?
  • How to make your data FAIR (Finable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). How to choose a repository?
  • What are personal data and how can you handle them?
