The study explores the experience of stigma, coping strategies, and stigma as a gender-specific experience among people with disabilities across the life course. It is based on personal narratives of individuals with cerebral palsy, highlighting their experiences in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. Using a life-course approach, the research examines how participants themselves perceive and make sense of stigma throughout their lives. A total of 30 in-depth interviews were conducted, all of which are available through ADP.
