The survey represents part of the series Media Literacy in Slovenia, within which it focuses on the group of primary school students (from 1st to 6th grade). It is a replication of the same type of survey conducted by the same authors in 2016. Responses were obtained using an online questionnaire completed by participating parents. The measurement instrument thematically addresses the following aspects: the presence of media devices; media habits of children and parents; parental control, restrictions, and opinions regarding media use and its effects on children; parents' familiarity with screen time guidelines for children and adolescents; their trust in media and verification of information obtained from various media sources; and respondents' reflexivity. 2,303 parents participated in the study.
