How to access data

Check if
the data are accessible via
the catalogue

Check if
other required materials are accessible via
the electronic codebook.
If the data is under limited use an order-form must be completed in advance.

Find the study, you wish to access. Write down the exact title of the study and the identification
number (ADP_IdNo).

Read the chapter on Data Accessibility in
the electronic codebook and make sure you are familiar with the terms and conditions regarding the use of
these data.

Check
the price list if there is a fee for the service.

Fill in
the order-form and send it via regular mail, e-mail, fax or bring it to us. If necessary use the instructions for completing the electronic version of
the order-form. A written out order-form, which you can fill in using pencil, is also available.
Use restrictions and user responsibilities
General restrictions:

ADP provides data only to users, which specify their purpose, comply with the professional code of
ethics, agree with the condition that the author and ADP are fully cited in the publications
which are based on the received data, and pay the required fees. This means that copies of the
received materials may not be distributed to anyone without prior written consent of the ADP.
This holds also for password for Nesstar. To prevent possible misues of data, the latter
shall be erased from the electronic carrier after the assignment is completed. The user must
fill out another order-form and specify the purpose if he/she plans to use the materials again.

The user must carefully read the accompanying documentation before using the received data.

Every user is obliged to notify ADP of any defects in the materials, supply ADP with any additions to
the original files, and send two copies of the resulting texts to ADP (when published inform
us about bibliographic information).

By signing the order-form the user commits him/herself to respecting the rules and regulations described above.

Materials may be used exclusively for the specified purpose. Attempts to identify individuals are prohibited.
Authors of studies usually impose the following specific regulations:

Limited for the use of the funding agency and the study group. Writen permission of the depositor/author is
required. Usually this type of restriction is waived after a certain period of time.

The use of data is allowed for scientific and educational purposes exclusively.
